My name is Sadat Malik and I am a UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist. Being accredited means that I abide by the UKCP’s high standards and ethical principles.
I am a former City professional and graduate from the University of Cambridge, with a UKCP accredited post-graduate diploma in counselling and psychotherapy. In addition to my private practice I have experience working with a diverse range of people within the NHS (as a counsellor and clinical team leader) and in a voluntary setting for the Maytree Suicide Respite Centre, Islington Victim Support, and for the Caravan Counselling Service based in the heart of Piccadilly.
I work intuitively and passionately with people, providing a catalyst for deep down and lasting change. I am integratively trained which means I work in different ways depending on your unique preferences and needs. Working together we can look at what is keeping you from being happy. You can gradually understand and change these things, so that you can find more enjoyment and fulfilment day to day.
I also mentor a psychology program, and run my own weekend workshops offering a deeper taste of mindfulness practices, creatively combined with group psychotherapy, poetry and music. And for over 5 years I have facilitated weekly meditation and poetry groups.
Find out more about how we can work together or contact me to book an initial consultation or to have an informal chat about how counselling could help you. I answer all calls personally and if I cannot take your call leave a message and I will respond promptly.
